Time, the infinite commodity.

Time is a wonderful thing.
It's used for giving.
For filling with loved ones.
To spend however you choose.
Sometimes we give away some of our time for money.
For education.
For love.
It's the only thing worth giving, in my opinion.
Someone who gives up their precious time to be with me means the world.
It's a funny thing though, this thing called "Time".

Here's two different scenarios that have happened in the past week:
Wake up at 7:30
Write a 5 page paper. (not lying)
Get ready at 8:50
Leave for work at 9:40
Work until 2:01
School at 2:30
Until 5:00
Gym until 6:15
Dinner with roommates
Library until 11:45.
Get ready for bed.

My thoughts at the end of the day:
"There is seriously NO time for breathing!"

Scenario 2.
Wake up at 9:00
Get ready.
Leave for work at 9:40
Work until 2:01
Lay out at the park and read until 4:30
Gym until 6:15
Dinner with roommates
Doodle-bop around until midnight.

My thoughts at the end of the day:
"There is seriously NO time for breathing!"

Right?
Some days I'm the most productive human being on the planet, and others...I have no idea where the time goes. It's insane.

I turn off my alarm and rest my eyes for 5 minutes, and 45 minutes have gone by.
I close my eyes in class for 5 minutes, and 2 minutes have gone by.
I stare at the clock at work, and 20 minutes feels like 2 hours.
I get on the internet and 2 hours feels like 20 minutes.
The deadline for your midterm project that your teacher told you about at the beginning of the semester comes before you know it...
But the 30+day countdown to disneyland seems to crawl by...
You get the point.
I blog when I have absolutely NO time.
And don't blog once over spring break when I have nothing but time.

Really all I'm trying to say here is....I want time to move slower when it counts, and faster when it doesn't. Is that so hard?
