To you, lovelies.

I've been feeling a void in my life. One that I couldn't quite put my finger on, until I realized it's my lack of social-ness in the college world. It's been quite tough living at hone, to say the least, and I'm counting down the days till I'm down in Provo, actually having a life (31! wahoo!)

This post is first to Tiana. To my best pal since birth. You've called on every birthday, every holiday, every fun day since I can remember. We always promised each other we'd room together at BYU. It took a few years, but in 31 days it's finally happening. I honestly can't wait. Thanks dear for being so patient. For not getting mad when I procrastinate and stay up till 3 with the light on to do a project. For being excited for me when I get asked out on a long-awaited date. For being sympathetic when I cry about silly things. For not being mean to me when I didn't do laundry for 2 weeks. For texting me even when you know I won't text back. For knowing details about every person who's crossed my path. I love you.

This post is next to Madi. My other half, my darling, my soul sister. You're the pessimist to my optimism. You keep me grounded and don't let me get too freaky happy or terribly sad.  When I want to cry, you get mad, and when I want to cry of laughter, you stare at me. (hahaha) Thanks Mad for your humor, and not letting me get too emotional about dumb things like plans, or men, or work. Thanks for crying with me when Beckett got shot. Thanks for having sleepovers in my room. Thanks for being my assistant. I'm glad that we'll be down in Provo together, and not have to drive 4 hours just to see each other. I love you to the moon and back!

This post is also to Madison. We've known each other for less than 2 years, but it seems like we've been friends for life. You complete me. I'm glad we found out that we could actually be great friends after we were roommates ;) Thanks for teaching me so much about life, and about myself. Thanks for humoring my Sammy's cravings, and my twizl/cocoa bean addiction. Thanks for going on midnight runs with me, and thanks for inspiring me enough to run 13.1 miles. We're insane. And I love you crazy.

This is for my Kace. I can't describe how much of a rock you've been to me. Every time I was at the brink of despair or at the peak of happiness, you were the one I turned to. I'm so glad you found my scream-laugh hilarious at that track invitational, because I wanted to be your best friend. Who knew that it would be the start of a great friendship? I'm so glad that we became like sisters. You are one of a kind, and I'm so happy I know you. Thanks for your great example. I love you!

This is for Lauren, Man, & Ade. I went through so much when we were room-girls, and I can't even describe how much I learned. I'm glad I had some incredible people to put up with my melodramatic ways. Thanks for being such great friends, I truly love and admire you all!

This is for my Chy Pie. I'm kinda obsessed with you. I'm so glad you're going to be in my life forever Chylie! I can't wait to hang out with you in the fall, because you are simply one of a kind. Keep being studious and stylish, because that's hot.

This is for Dallin and Angela. As I'm sure you'll never read this, I can't begin to describe how much I love being friends with you two! Life sure got a lot spicier when you moved into town. I'm so happy that we've stayed friends through the years. Thanks for being my only surviving child-hood friends (13 years old counts as a child, right?) You've seen me through my chubby years, my running years, my fun years, and my lame years. You've been there during the night-game phase, the dance party phase, and the Cafe Rio phase. Thanks for making me laugh all day long. You are the straw to my berry. You rock, you freakin' rock.

This is to my dear Elise. I can't begin to tell you how much I adore you. I don't know if there's ever been a girl on the planet who's as genuinely kind as you are. There's no amount of sarcasm that could corrupt you, although I sure tried. I can't imagine life without my little ball of sunshine. Thanks for always being so insanely interested in my doings. I feel like I can trust you with my life. I owe so much to you, and I love you infinity!

Allie, our temple trips and long talks are soup for the soul. I can't tell you how much you mean to me. Courtney, our 8 hours together every other weekend was pure happiness. I loved each second having deep conversations and talking about boys. Evan, you know I love our friendship, and will always cherish you! Chelsie, I'm amazed at your photo talents, and I wish we could open a studio together. To my yearbook junkies, Maddie and Kramer. You were my first friends in high school, and I'm so thrilled to know you! You made my Lp years better. To Elaine, you showed me how much God loves me. Our friendship is truly eternal, and I can't wait till we get to spend more time together.  To Travis J who never said no to country dancing, and always said yes to silly adventures. I miss you. To Lacey who taught me to laugh loud and shimmy. To Jaz who was the greatest friend I could ask for during my senior year.

To those who taught me about patience, heartache, and disappointment. I've learned just as much from you as anyone else. You taught me to enjoy the great times, and not dwell on the low times. I've learned that I can find happiness in the toughest of experiences, and even when I think there's no one left who will listen, I can turn to the one who will never let me down. I don't look forward to you, but I do look back with a greater perspective.

Much love.
Kate.
